  1. Introduce the main character as soon as possible.
  2. Raise a question to the readers.
  3. Make your reader feel sympathetic, or angry, or happy, or sad.  Give them emotional satisfaction quickly.
  4. Get into characterization earlier.
  5. Set the main character a goal.
  6. Create a conflict that involves with the goal.
